Salish Recovery Coalition Aims to Celebrate and Advocate for more Recovery Support Services for our community. We will do this in several ways. One is education around recovery and use of pro-recovery language to end the negative stigma around substance use and mental health. We also plan to host speaker and training about how to effectively advocate for our population with elected officials. Train and advocate for more opportunities for peers and peer ran services. One of which would be a Recovery Café. And lastly celebrations of recovery community events.
